From GLBTQ Jamaica A transgender woman who reportedly mowed down her lover during a domestic dispute, is scheduled to return to the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on February 25.
The transgender cosmetologist, who now sports wel designed breasts, extended hips and buttocks, is facing a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of Carlos Ottary, a landscaper of Chancery Hall in St Andrew. The incident allegedly occurred on July 7 of last year, along Hamilton Drive in St Andrew around 2:45 pm. According to the police report, the accused was reportedly driving along Hamilton Drive, heading towards Leas Flat, when she hit the now deceased man after he flung a stone into the 24-year-old accused’s car.
